Case Rested

Last post! Except for graduation in three weeks, I have four months without thinking, writing, or agonizing over the law. Thankfully, though we've spent the last three years studying inside the crumbling edifice that is the Curtis Building (but a stellar exemplar for the ins and outs of occupier's liability) we get to graduate in the new, shiny Chan Centre. (The architecture almost seems to give it a halo.)

Thanks to the people that read this site, and I know some friends suggested I keep it going. Frankly, I've simply run out of legal puns. I'll let you know if I post elsewhere in the future, but for now, case, uh, closed.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do with myself now. Do you expect me to work while I'm in the office?

It's a shame that you're closing this down. I've really enjoyed reading it over the past few months. You've got exceptional skill with words.

If you ever get bored of the whole lawyer gig you should consider writing a couple books.

When you write those books remember your good friend brad if you need a CG dino for the cover.

Lawyerlike has been my friend, mother, secret lover of all things music, books, movies, law and ryan.

We need to move to the same freaking city so I can start getting those updates in person again. Till then however, I look forward to lawyerlike's reincarnation keeping me in the know for everything I had no idea I was missing out on.

Will there be a Lawyerlike reincarnation?

Maybe a, 'PartnerLike' or a 'AssociateLike' blog?

Now what kind of lawyer would I be if I didn't entertain an appeal...

You'd be a broke lawyer. lol

Glad you are exploiting your readers like you would your future clients. A sign of a true lawyer! I bet you did exceptionally well on your ethics exam.

After trying to blog about my own interests or experiences on two separate occasions I realized how much effort is involved in maintaining and updating a blog. This is a great example of your true dedication to expression and endless creativity. I have enjoyed every post along the way!

Kudos to you Lawyerlike, and congratulations on landing on that next stone!

"The pertinent drugs based on canabinoides were reviewed." If that isn't a band name I don't know what is. Since I know you'll be popping up in one form or the other I'm not destroyed like the other readers, only quietly sentimental since we both started our blogs on the same day, and you went on to fame and magazine covers and I...didn't. Here's to three years interestingly spent, being racist, and turning the legal world on its ear.

P.S. Phoenix Write: Ace Attorney rules the world.

LOL...crumbling edifice. God I miss the Curtis Building. Those freezing cold days stuck in a cement bunker with limited internet access. Reminds me of WWII.
